Several additional charges filed against Davenport man accused of sexually abusing multiple children

DAVENPORT, Iowa – A Davenport man first charged in September for child sex abuse is back behind bars after police receive third round of new allegations.

Myles White, 22, of Davenport, now faces two additional counts of Second Degree Sexual Abuse, a Class B Felony, and two counts of Incest, a Class D Felony, after being arrested for third time March 2.

On Feb. 12, in a separate case, White was arrested and charged with one count of Second Degree Sexual Abuse. On Feb. 20, prosecutors filed additional charges in connection to this case.

White now faces three counts of Second Degree Sexual Abuse, three counts of Lascivious Acts with a Child, one count of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, and two counts of Grooming, in connection to his February arrest.

On Sep. 19, White was arrested for the first time and charged with Third Degree Sexual Abuse, a Class C Felony, in connection to separate allegations.

THIRD ARREST (March 2, 2026)

According to affidavits, in a forensic interview with the Melody Hope Advocacy Center in Davenport, a child disclosed they had been sexually abused by White.

The alleged incidents occurred during the period of Aug. 2019 to Aug. 2020 at a home, as well as a rental storage facility, in Park View, near Eldridge, when the child was 10 years old, court documents show.

Police confirmed White is related to the victim by blood, affidavits show.

SECOND ARREST (Feb. 12, 2026)

On Jan. 5, the Davenport Police Department received a report of a sexual assault that had occurred at the Lakewood Estates mobile home park, affidavits show.

On Feb. 6, police obtained an arrest warrant after finding enough evidence to criminally charge White for sexually abusing a child, court documents show.

Investigators say, between April 2024 and Sep. 2025, White engaged in sex acts with a child, including making the child perform oral sex on him, and touching the child’s genitalia with his own genitalia.

According to court documents, the child is 11 years old, and would have been the age of 9 and 10 when the alleged activity occurred.

On Feb. 24, White was granted supervised pretrial release, and ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation and to start or complete any recommended treatment, court documents show.

On March 2, White pleaded Not Guilty to the charges, but was placed back into custody for the most recent charges.

FIRST ARREST (Sep. 19, 2025)

Investigators say White was 21 years old when he entered into a relationship with a 15-year-old girl and had convinced her he was 17 years old, affidavits show.

On Jan. 4, 2025, police received a 911 call reporting a sexual assault that had occurred at Wood Middle School, affidavits show.

On the night of Jan. 2, 2025, investigators say White sexually penetrated the girl with his penis and fingers while in the backseat of a vehicle parked in a parking lot near the school, affidavits show.

White returned the girl at around 6 a.m. the following day, affidavits show.

On Sep. 19, White was placed into custody and formally charged after police obtained a warrant for his arrest, but he was ultimately released from jail the following day, court documents show.

On Oct. 23, White pleaded Not Guilty to the charges. On Feb. 17, the case was continued to April 14 at 1:35 p.m. for a case management conference.

What’s next?

White is in custody at the Scott County Jail on a $25,000 cash only bond. A preliminary hearing for the most recent arrest is set for March 10 at 3 p.m.
